Was able to snag a last minute reservation and it didn't disappoint! The fritters were amazing. Very much like someone you know made them, black eyed peas and ham hock tasting little bursts! A must-try before they change. The ambiance is very unique with an old art deco vibe. Very casual posh, whatever that means. The drinks are good here. And the Oakland Caesar Salad is a must try.

Oh wow! This place is a MUST if you're in the Bay- Oakland! This place is an absolute hidden gem. The food was so amazing. They have an extensive bar menu- ordered house Manhattan. They change the menu by season. I ordered the duck and it was just to die for... so many different flavor with sweet potato mash and maple mash with pomegranate crunch... with a very light small salad to wash my palette with every bite. The Ambience was high classic, retro 60-70s with live jazz music. The service was totally attendant but not bothersome. Just perfect all around. I hate that I'm sharing my experience with those of you reading my review but treat yourself to an amazing dinner experience in the Bay!

Like you are literally at a mid century dinner party - this restaurant takes you back in time and reimagines the era of the jet set. Creative cocktails and delicious, well presented food. The only reason we do not visit more is due to the difficulty in getting a reservation.

Food is decent... I didn't have anything that jumped my palette buds with joy but I enjoyed trying things such as their meatballs and homemade ice cream. Service was attentive as heck & food came quickly. Ambiance is chic, modern, & cute as hell. Their drinks are a definite highlight and a reason I'd go back!

Tried Bardo for the first time after eyeing it since moving into the neighborhood. Dip is minty very dilly creamy and very refreshing. Chips are your usual kettle super crispy not too salty. There is a refreshing surprise when you get a hearty scoop! Meatballs are great. Both the meatballs and sauce are slightly spicy- very flavorful. Chopped cherry tomatoes are mixed in and give a good fresh crunch contrast to the warm savory sauce. The summer chicken schnitzel was amazing! Summery roasted veggies, tender fall apart chicken, paired with a bright herby basil chimichurri like sauce. Couldn't pin point the base puree but it was very tangy and pairs nicely with roasted and herby taste the rest of the dish presented. Tried some of the fries from my cousin's dish and they were so crispy, potatoey, and salty. We kept saying that they are what McDonald's wishes to be lol. For drinks get the daisy chain- it's a must! Overall great food, great vibes and lighting, servers know when to approach and are very kind and helpful.

The vibes here are immaculate. It's a lovely modernized version of mid century modern. Would love my house to look like this one day. The drinks were inventive and fun. The food was so tasty. And it just really felt like you're having a fun supper club at a fancy friend's place. The service was lovely and they were attentive but not pushy. Standout dishes: the herbed fettuccine with crispy spek, the summer salad with passion fruit dressing, and the picked veggies! Check out my pics for more details.

Came here on a Saturday night for a girl's night/birthday dinner celebration. I'll start with the ambiance - this is a two-level restaurant, and it has just cozy elevated vibes. Think: mid-century modern living room turned restaurant space. It's very nice. We were sat at the second level on a couch and offered cocktails before being led to our table on the first level. Our drinks and ordered arrived promptly. We ordered the vegetarian pasta, ribeye, and burger. All good, and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive with checking on us and refilling our waters, and they even overheard that we had a birthday at the table, and brought us a complimentary dessert (it was a homemade twinky-type dessert with ice cream and fresh mango - so good!).

Food: amazing Ambience: beyond amazing Service: amazing This is an excellent, cozy place for an exceptional meal and drinks. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. The staff is friendly and will give you all the info you want to know about the menu with food recommendations. I came here on a Friday evening around 9:30 p.m. and it was full but not overwhelmingly busy. You might want to make a reservation, we did. Btw they close around 11 p.m. on Friday evenings. I had the whiskey sour, duck croquettes, white beans with corn bread and burger. It was ALL SCRUMPTIOUS. There's a variety of tables with chairs and couch seating. It's a grown and sexy vibe in there. A lovely place to go out to look good and eat good. Perfect for good eats and intimate conversation in a sophisticated environment. Best of all, they've been consecutively featured on the Michelin Guide, and live up to the hype. Worth every penny. The prices match the value.

Michelin Star Restaurant 2023 Great food for any palate. One vegan food option. Few menu items can be served vegetarian. I recommend making a reservation. It can be crowded on the weekends. The waiter was attentive and quick. The drink menu is extensive, and the waiter was able to make pairing suggestions. Highly recommend for date night and large group celebrations
